In November 2017, Riot Games ruled that the name and logo of Lyon Gaming did not belong to the organisation's owner, despite when entering the Latin America North League (LNN) the team had singed and acknowledging having rights to the brand – whilst apparently aware that the appropriate rights were actually in conflict.[134] Later on Thyak, former jungler of the team, acquired the brand of Lyon Gaming to form his own team.[135] In December 2017, the team announced to compete as Rainbow7.[136]
