FlyQuest debuted in the NA LCS Spring 2017 Season after buying the spot of Cloud9 Challenger which was promoted to the LCS through the promotion tournament. [113] Their first roster was formed as 4 of the Cloud9 Challenger players joined, Balls, Hai, Altec and LemonNation. Joining them was former Team Liquid player and analyst Moon to finalize the roster. In its first split, the team qualified to the playoffs, where it finished 4th, winning over Counter Logic Gaming in the quarterfinal while losing to Team SoloMid in the semifinal and to Phoenix1 in the 3rd place match.
