After the Unsold Stuff Gaming team didn't renew its contract with LJL at the end of the 2019 Season for the next franchise year, the Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming, a subsidiary of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks baseball team who is playing at the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) as a member of the Pacific League, was chosen to enter the LJL franchise.
