In 2014, Chiefs Esport Club was formed as Exodus Gaming before it was rebranded into Chiefs Esports Club. The inital team that was formed featured, Swip3rR, Spookz, Swiffer, Raydere, and Rosey. The first tournament that the team entered was the Logitech CGPL Season 2 Winter tournament where after finishing 5-2 in the round-robin phase, they would go on to claim a spot in the Oceania regional tournament where they would lose 2-1 in the semi-finals to Legacy Esports.
