LNG Esports was created through a rebranding of Snake Esports halfway through 2019. Keeping most of the former roster of Snake, LNG added former Team WE midlaner Bae "Plex "Ho-young and Duan "Duan" Deliang as their new support. Now under the new name, team made their debut in the LPL 2019 Summer Split, making playoffs with a 8/-/7 record. In playoffs, the team beat Invictus Gaming in a convincing 3-0 game, before losing 1-3 against Royal Never Give Up, who would go on to place second in the event. Looking to improve for the next year, LNG replaced their mid-jungle duo of SofM and Plex by acquiring Xiong "Xx" Yulong from Top Esports and signing former Suning player Huang "Maple" Yi-tang. The revamped roster made their first showing at the 2019 Demacia Cup where they'd finish in a 9-12th position, failing to make it past the group stages.
