Team Heretics had a short spell in League of Legends in 2017, competing in the Spanish Challenger Series and the LVP Superliga Second Division fielding a Spanish line-up. However ending their run in the second division in 6th place the team was disbanded. Heretics would return in some way in 2019, as they partenered with G2 Esports to run their academy team for the LVP under the name of G2 Heretics.
